🛏️ Quilted Bed Skirt - Greenland Home GL-1710GBKQ Paisley Design in Ivory (Queen Size) Review

I have LOTS of bed skirts, I've tried every trend and this is the best I've ever had! It's the perfect weight, stays in place, the fabric is nice and long enough that when people look into our room they don't see all the crap under the bed. We have a loft bed and it is as advertised. I am very satisfied with this bed frame! This is a beautiful, elegant addition to our bedroom. The bed skirt that came with the quilt and pads was too light for the look I wanted. This skirt is a beautiful ivory color with beautiful stitching. It has split corners but my bed has extra support on the foot board. I modified the skirt by making a slit and then sewing the raw edges with seams. (See photo.)

This is a very pretty skirt but I haven't measured the fall from spring block to floor. This will add about 1 1/2 inches to the edge of the bed. I think my box spring is pretty typical, but it's not as deep as the highest end springs. Therefore, the skirt bends near the floor and does not look perfect. I tried pinching it in the middle when I put the mattress back on and that helped a bit. I should probably just return it, but I've decided to live with it.

I bought this as a dust cover for my new Matelasse bedspread. The quality seems excellent although it hasn't been washed yet. The ivory color is perfect, not beige or white. Haircut neat and tidy. It's a little heavy compared to other dusting ruffles, but I used skirt pins to attach the skirt to the spring blocks and had no problem moving the skirt around. Oh yes, I would definitely buy it again and recommend it to everyone. It's really beautiful.
