Great idea. I thought it would solve all my problems. Yes, around 45 minutes the first time and 2 hours the next time. So disappointed. I'd have to schedule when to use it and remove it immediately afterward so it doesn't keep falling in my bathtub and my family having to walk around to see what a disaster it is. If that doesn't bother you, then do it. waste for me.

I was really hoping this product would work but it doesn't. First, the natural suction cups that came with the kit failed after 2 weeks. I then tried using the extra chopstick pads that came with the product. These lasted another 3 days before the shelf fell over twice. I had 1 bar of soap, a loofah and a regular sized bottle of shampoo on the shelf. There's no reason he shouldn't have endured it. I followed the instructions, cleaned the surface, dried it and applied it correctly several times.

Overall a good shower enclosure, easy to assemble/install and still hold securely in place after a few weeks. The chrome wire looks good and is easy to clean. The only issue I had was that the soap dish is too close to the shelf above - there just isn't enough room to get soap in and out comfortably. My hands are not huge, rather medium-sized. Those of you with larger than average hands may not be able to use the soap dish at all! If I had to do it all over again I wouldn't buy this soap dish…

Pros - The shelf is strong and well fixed to a smooth surface (read instructions). Extra pads are included that "stick" to the uneven surface where the suction cups stick. Not very good - the only downside is that the soap dish is too close to the lower basket. When you pick up the soap it will be too solid for your hand to get out. I had a really hard time gluing this thing to my shower wall which is completely flat and smooth. There are no pores or any type of surface where they stated not to use this. There was still trouble. They thoughtfully added sticky discs to help with this and they actually worked much better. But for a short time, a suction cup continued to detach from the pane. Sometimes I like to think I'm smarter than a sucker, but this product makes me doubt myself and my math teachers. The included suction cups are absolutely terrible. I have to buy REAL vacuum cups (like Yohom or Jomola) to actually hold anything. These suction cups are plastic and last a day or two before everything collapses.
