🔦 Hella 002395031 HLMP 7-inch (165mm) H4 ECE Headlight, 2395031 Review

Used to replace a dim headlight that was factory installed on my 2011 Ural Gear-Up. Fits perfectly. Please note that it does not include a lighting element and must be purchased separately. I chose the LED lamp and it works great. Now I see much better at night.

Sent back and picked up some inferior H4 headlights of questionable quality. Quality is top notch and installation perfect, they are made in Romania but Hella is a global company and i don't expect any difference to the german ones they have an internal lamp shield which prevents glare glad i found it!

The photo in the supplement shows "Made in Germany" cast in glass, but I have headlights " Made in Romania" . The quality is not as good as the German ones, but not bad. Also how they were packed for shipping. You pack the Hella boxes in a plastic mailing bag. The boxes were no longer square and one of the lamp brackets was bent. Easy to fix but still not satisfied Overall I received them and was able to install them

The description is a bit vague so I will add some missing details. The lantern is supplied without a bulb, so the H4 bulb must be purchased separately (e.g. Hella H83140101). It's still cheaper to buy flashlight and lightbulb separately than to buy the whole set. It also has no parking light (city light). These are excellent modifications of factory-sealed beams. They have a sharp cut and a decently wide hotspot at low frequencies. The high is somewhat lacking as the hotspot is tiny and has a lot of flow. However, 98% of the time you're driving with your low beams on and the other 2% of the time your headlights aren't competing with the glare of oncoming drivers, so you don't need as much light as you think. "You get what you pay for" is the old adage. That's pretty much the case here. I already had a Hella H4 bulb made in Germany and was looking for a second one.
