horse hoof care this is my rasp. With good care, it lasts longer and is sharper than cheap rasps. I will never switch to another brand.

I love this rasp. Ideal for quickly tearing wood for woodworking. Excellent rasp. I made a handle out of the end of a ash rake handle and it's perfect. Just remember to put on a glove on the other hand holding the end as this pup is sharp and will bite.

I had a smaller rasp that just didn't get the job done. Nothing lasts forever but this old one of mine really didn't do well to begin with and I only use it occasionally when a farrier isn't available and I need to make my own cut. This Heller rasp is head and shoulders better and worth the extra cost. Message as always, don't try to save a buck or two on tools. Good tools are safer, make work easier and better.
