HH – Size Matters for T-Shirts

I'm 6ft 2in and about 230lbs. I have been working for a long time, but not so tall that the size XL does not fit. I needed a 3 XL Shirt Cool, I only buy it on sale now

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Secret

Ideal for everyday use and for hiking

Very comfortable shirt, thin, light and with medium warmth! I wear size XL because I'm 180 cm tall and EU size 194. Great base layer for everyday winter days and for hiking.

Pros
  • GOLS-certified
Cons
  • Infinitely soft

Best Base Coat Bang For Buck

I have two other HH base coats and this one was advertised as thinner than what it is. It's not uncomfortable, but it's "stickier" than others that aren't tight, hence the four stars. At the time of the purchase I wanted for it was the only game in town. I have other base layers as well, but I found HH to be my favorite. I don't think I'll be switching brands any time soon. I just bought a pair of base layers for road cycling last fall. I've found myself using them for other activities like…

The fabric stretches and deteriorates after a wash.

Thermal underwear is stylish and warm and the first time I put it on it was perfect and did exactly what I needed. However, after only 1 wash, the fabric has stretched a few times and deteriorated in several places, as in the picture above. It has been washed with other thermals and t-shirts with no zippers or other things to snag on. I really expected better quality from Helly Hansen, especially given the brand's premium price point and my previous experience with several HH products. Very…

Fragile Material Works Best in Outerwear

This material is attracted to anything that has velcro and if it is torn it will cause tears. There are longer lasting, more efficient alternatives that cost less.

Outerwear not impressed

The product looks very fashionable. The material and quality is ok for a well-known brand, but this item is not high-end sportswear. My biggest issue was that the fit was tight and small.

Pros
  • understandable even for the old ones
Cons
  • All right

Body Close - Shirts

Excellent base layer. Warm and cozy. The only thing that bothers me is that it's tight on the body. I'm 6ft 1220 and ordered XXL and it's a bit tight. I know it's a base meant to be easy to wear, but I increased the size to make room for myself and didn't really get it. It's a comfy base layer though and I love the look.

  • Nice Item

Light All Season

Very light base layer but not as dense as a compression base layer. Can be worn in any season. Unfortunately, there are only very few stocks left, otherwise I would buy 2-3 more pieces.

Pros
  • Always Loved
Cons
  • Durability

Feels good, good quality, small size

This is quite a nice cold/dry base coat, especially for the price. It differs from other shirts of this type that I have had (in a good way). They run very small, so I recommend ordering at least one size larger. For the record, I'm 6'4", 225 pounds and usually wear a L or XL. With them, I found even the XXL to be a little small. The length of the arms and body was good, but the neck and the Chest was too narrow so sent it back Fit aside I would still give 5 stars if it weren't for the ribbed…
