I bought these socks to use on our Grand Canyon hike along with my Hoka Speedgoat. the back of my shoes. The material is soft and very soft. Washing before use helped me with the fit.

Quality Control

These were supposed to be my new hiking socks, but I never got around to trying them on. Upon opening the box, two pairs were as expected, but the third pair of socks in the set (the black pair) had a small, uninterrupted coin-sized hole in the front ankle. Possibly an unintentionally omitted part of factory quality control. I didn't notice this at first until I removed the sleeve and separated the pair - the sock "back" was damaged. I hope that the parts I ordered are in good condition and…

Pros
  • Easy Setup
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Socks in wrong size

I bought a pack of three, size S. The pair of gray socks were clearly not small, but rather large. I went back for a replacement and was again given two pairs of correctly sized socks, but the gray pair was too big. Why does a company ship an obviously wrong-sized pair of socks with two other pairs of socks? I can't use a big pair as the small ones are already too big.

Pros
  • COMFORTABLE AND DRY ON HIKING ADVENTURES: The natural thermoregulation of our high-quality wool blend keeps your feet fresh in summer and warm in winter. Ventilation strips optimize airflow and wick away moisture. Targeted padding reduces risk of blisters and soreness
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

30% wool = misleading ad

Just be honest with your ad. The item is labeled "Merino Wool Low Cut Hiking Socks". The product description doesn't state the material percentage, so one would have to take the wording "wool blend" hidden in the description as a red flag, and then assume that there's almost no wool, as that's the only indicator that the product is one thing, which is actually not a "wool sock" as advertised. I'm keeping them because I'm in dire need of socks that will keep you cooler than those damn bamboo…

Pros
  • wool, mesh, wool
Cons
  • I will add later
