Description of Hilmor 1839108 TCC Thermocouple Clamp

Gets right to the temperature reading up to 1-1/8" tubing. A K-style connection provide a tight fit and easy use with other devices. Stow it away simply by wrapping the thermocouple wire around the clamp and securing the plug. Included components: Thermocouple Clamp.

Hilmor Thermocouple

I've had no problems with this for six months while waiting to post a review. I've used it many times and it always provides fast and accurate data to my field service unit. If you need this type of sensor I can tell you this one will not disappoint and is a lot cheaper than my old Fluke.

NOT RECOMMENDED

Positive and Negative product connector markings reversed. Connector is green instead of yellow as for type K thermocouples. Contacts are not properly formed and will not fully insert. Works normally, but the contact area is larger than necessary and depends on the ambient temperature. Not recommended for mission-critical applications.

Better than field instrument

Working great after 2 years of use. It lasts longer than all 3 field clamps that I broke at the pivot point, the Hilmore has less spring tension. It's thin so you can hook it up to the suction line without messing around with Rubatex. It has less plastic around the probe so it heats up faster than the field. Made of impact-resistant plastic in tool quality. I've unplugged the connector perpendicular to the pins several times and it still works and reads accurately. K-type pins have a curved…
