Regular quality only - not worth $20

This is a good bracket but the quality of the product will not last very long, the overall structure is some kind of aluminum-like white metal product and is painted slightly white, wish they had more color options too. That's why I gave 3 stars. I have now updated my rating to 3, this item was $14.99 then it went to $18.99 now they charge $20? Joker! I will buy another holder somewhere else.

Not included: magnetic mounting plate or magnet

From the description and photos of this product, I expected it to come with a round magnetic plate that the camera magnet sticks to. (In fact, the third photo currently on the product shows someone mounting the camera with the round plate, nothing else.) However, this product only comes with a cone that screws onto the round plate (which doesn't included in delivery).

Works well for me: Accessory

I like that the cameras are moved away from the walls where they were originally installed. Provides a better/larger picture frame and much greater range of motion than the standard mounting system. Quality is a bit on the plus side; However, I took precautions not to overtighten and the installation was fairly easy and straightforward. I would recommend these as long as you don't over tighten the screws when installing.

Questionable Materials

The heads of the included mounting screws were destroyed by my electric screwdriver, so I used Allen screws instead. As others have pointed out (I think) the plastic washer used to tighten the mounting bracket is actually plastic. It will continue to loosen if hand tightened and may break if a tool is used. Otherwise. it does as advertised. Some of the better position locking mechanisms are valued along with some of the better components and cost more money.

My best solution is the CCTV case and mounting brackets

I like that it keeps the cameras off the walls where they were originally installed. Provides a better/larger picture frame and much greater range of motion than the standard mounting system. Quality is a bit on the plus side; However, I took precautions not to overtighten and the installation was fairly easy and straightforward. I would recommend these as long as you don't over tighten the screws when installing.
