Colorado Ski Trip: Freshwater Systems

Great product installed on (3) separate RV tanks, fresh water tank, black tank and gray tank, stay in Salida, Colorado. Worked great for 5 days, morning lows were 8 degrees.

Pros
  • Plumbing
Cons
  • Some small things

Easy to install Fits thermostats, water heater components and parts

Keeps our camper gray water tank warm enough all winter long to prevent freezing in occasional well below freezing temperatures . Didn't keep the tank warm enough when driving all day at 15°-20°, but didn't thaw for long. Easy assembly, very good adhesion to the waste water tank.

Pros
  • Thermostats, water heater components and parts
Cons
  • Low repairability

not reliable in RV Parts & Accessories

I was a little worried they weren't working properly so I put on an ammeter and monitored them. 1 draws 0.1 amps when off, but it will turn on and off at the stated temperatures. The other is just on all the time, regardless of temperature, and the third probably won't even turn on at 27°F, and if it does, it'll only turn off and on for a few seconds at a time until it turns itself off random turns off amount of time. It sucks that 3 times 3 is wrong.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • Working Speed
