    These are great base layers for kids, but be aware they run small. My 12 year old boy is short (hasn't hit that growth spurt yet), he's about 5'10, weighs about 85 pounds and his 12 year old's shirt was too small. Size 13-14 fits well but I expect he will outgrow it soon. He also has size 12 pants and they fit perfectly.

    I thought I would get a size 12 but it's an 11/12. If I knew that, I would increase the size. Great product but a mistake for more not less. These things didn't fit my daughter and she had to go camping without them.

    This top is made from very soft, smooth, non-spiky wool and has a beautiful colour. In addition, he has a very good cut. Easy care: machine wash and dry. I love this top very squishy. Unfortunately I am sending the top back as it has shorter down and sleeves for my grandson. I recommend this product to my friends and relatives for my children

    Icebreaker clothes are always a good buy - they don't itch/severely itch and although they smell after a few wears (about a week!) they are great for holidays etc. My nephew said he wore his casual clothes for one 7 day hike without the "stink" at the end. It washes off so easily and dries quickly. Despite saying "Boys" on it, I bought it for myself as I found that the size 13-14 for girls is almost the same as the XS for women, and more importantly, 2 times cheaper ! One thing to be aware of…

    Good top - my rating

    Nice top but expensive. Bought as a gift at the last minute. It's funny how you can find an XL men's icebreaker for almost the same price, but it uses a lot more wool. Size 10 came like a 10, haven't washed it yet, hope it doesn't shrink.

    Great thing in my review.

    I love these wool icebreaker sets for kids. They fit perfectly and my daughter lived in the ones I bought her (top and pants) last freezing cold winter. I will definitely buy it again for her when she grows up for future winters.

    Bought this for my 14 year old daughter for a ski trip and it (along with a pair of Icebreaker leggings) kept her warm under her ski gear. Like leggings, the sizing is almost the same as the adult Icebreaker XS but cheaper! if anything, just a little shorter in length than the adult tops, but not excessively. I love Icebreaker stuff because it's warm and non-scratchy and it really does NOT "smell" slightly - sure, but only after a few days or more! I recommend Icebreaker to anyone and everyone!

    I bought two of these for my daughter and they have been in demand in Seattle for 3 seasons. The shirt makes a great base layer for cold weather and a great long sleeve shirt for regular wear in moderate temperatures (50-60F).     They're nice and thin and soft, but they run small! My son is 4ft 6in, weighs 62lbs, he is 8 years old and usually wears a boy size 8 shirt or size 8/10 top. shrinks easily. If he wants it SKIIIIIN tight a size down would do, but it wouldn't fit longer than 3 months.
