IT IS SO EXPLANATORY THAT YOU CANNOT RE-SIZE THIS ROD AFTER IT IS INITIALLY INSTALLED. I first decided to try an excess length of less than 1 inch because I'm using a rod to hang the curtains on the side of the loft bed and don't want too much pressure between the bedposts. Ordered three times, if so and broken all three times, in the same place. The outer packaging was undamaged but the plastic wrap around the end had been torn off and the end had been cut off. They brought me the first and second order, the third black, hoping that this is an issue with that batch. This last delivery was also packed in a large box filled with paper. Still broken. So far I haven't been able to find another company that has the extra magazine I need/like so I'm very disappointed…

Okay first let me say these are quality shower rods. Rubber tips at the ends for grip. Beautiful white paint with no rust, instructions on the pole. This is where things get weird in my house. My dog keeps punching through my porch window so he can make his own door. I've replaced him twice but he's like a hammerhead and wants that door.
