Cheap plastic, the clips broke when plugged in. I was actually going to give it 1 star but after some thought I decided to give it 2 stars because despite the fact that the plastic is pretty much the lowest and cheapest quality you can get, all the LEDs work, it was an easy install (or could be if the clamps weren't junk) and once I've super glued them they look reasonably decent.

This is not my first Jetta mk4. I kept pulling these parking lights out at the junkyard (funnily enough they break). I installed a pass. First the wing, the lens flew off, okay. Carefully installed on the driver's side and the lens popped out again. It's okay, I glued it back on and waited for it to dry. Won't buy again due to poor assembly. I've had them on my MKIV 2001 VW GTI GLX VR6 for about 2 months and they work great and look great. Keep in mind that you may need to play with it a bit to get it seated properly without popping out. I would also recommend putting a drop of super glue between the black lens and the plastic base. I wish I could give these headlights another 0.5 stars because they are almost perfect. My only two complaints are with the plug itself and how the lamps are sold here. The light output itself looks great in daylight. I installed them in less than 5 minutes and they fit perfectly. The fit itself is as close to OEM as I can tell.
