Excellent replacement for MGN12 bottom bracket

My bottom brackets were from Zyltech so can't really call it 'cheap Chinese' or unusable but I figured it wouldn't There's no harm in replacing ball bearings. Unfortunately, these worked great, just like the originals.

Pros
  • nice little thing
Cons

Constantly undersized

First I received G25 bearings not the advertised G5 quality. That's a big disappointment, but after looking at the bcprecision website, it turns out they don't actually make 3/32" balls out of 440 G5 steel. Measurements taken at 5 different locations on the ball. With a specified nominal diameter of 3/32" (0.09375"): 30 is between -0.00020" and -0.00015" of the nominal diameter. 75 range from -0.00015" to -0.00010" of face value. The maximum min/max deviation per bullet was 0.00005"…

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn
