We were hesitant to try this boring bar, but we are glad we did! Using this product, our team found that it was very effective for our industrial and scientific needs. It made precise cuts and was easy to use. The only downside was that it might not be suitable for larger projects. Overall, we highly recommend this boring bar for those in the cutting tools industry.

Let's start with the disappointment. The R8 rod thread was poorly cut, my rod only twisted a few turns. It was disappointing for a $200 head what you would expect from a $47 port freight unit. I was originally going to pull off a few stars until I used the drill head. I was very happy with the rest of the set. The boring bars were of high quality and a good set with reproducible carbides. Very impressed with the quality of this flashlight for the price! This seems very accurate, but I had to fiddle with the 3 adjustment screws to get the head to move smoothly and without "warping", but this is typical of any drill head using a cone/rod configuration. Runout doesn't matter since the tool has to work with a design offset, but still. The static top is very straight and I've only measured 0.0005 to 0.001 runout in 5 separate full installs/teardowns, so at least it fits! For the home
