It's not thick or ribbed, just a cheap foam gasket you can buy anywhere for less! Do not be fooled. It works but it's not as advertised!

Cheap non-ribbed foam sealant. You can go to Home Depot and buy the same thing for a few dollars. This is NOT the seal that comes with the tonneau cover. Divorce.

This is NOT the Original Equipment Rib Seal. This is soft, flat protective insulation of the kind you put around AC window units. It could work. But I order the ripped version for higher quality.

I bought this to replace the seal on my Bakflip MX4. This seal is no different from the original and started leaking on the first day in light rain. This is a cheap foam, not weather resistant and not ribbed as advertised. Don't waste money.

Replaces the well-engineered original part. Nothing special in this part. Standard foam, not the same as the picture, the same as the original. Surface prepared and installed, the foam was blown off while driving on the road. Very bad glue. Don't waste money!

Great product. Equip my 2015 Ram 1500 with a rambox with cargo side rails. Makes my truck great. The freight rails are still in operation. A soapy water sprayer made installation easier. Don't forget to spray the cargo and stern rails.

2 years ago Bought a backflip cover. I bought a new truck so I needed this sealer to move the lid onto the new truck. The first one I got was just a cheap styrofoam gasket with no grooves so I sent it back thinking it was packaged incorrectly. They sent me a second one just like the first. So I called Bak Industries. They said they changed the seal but didn't change the image on the box. This new seal feels like cheap foam, not like the more rubbery one that came with my cap.
