Do not buy this rasp

This rasp is absolutely useless. The teeth are so flat on both sides that it is unusable. It is impossible to saw through a horse's hoof with this so-called blacksmith's rasp.

Pros
  • Inexpensive but good quality for everyday use
Cons
  • There are disadvantages

Unfortunately it's terrible.

I really wanted to like them. But honestly, this is the worst grater I've ever tried. I have trimmed my horse's hooves for many years. Most of my rasps went to forges after they replaced them with sharper ones. This one is VERY boring. I dropped it halfway and picked up my used one. I haven't used it since then.

Pros
  • Reversible rasp for coarse and fine cuts
Cons
  • Hard to say

Not recommended. suitable for horses

I bought one of these to try. Thank god it was just one and no more. If you choose to use it as part of your regular hoof trimming regimen, you will find that the rasp is not as sharp even when new. and much better rasps in the future.

Pros
  • rectangular, length 14 inches
Cons
  • There are new competitors

Oops - thought I was getting a pen.

Used on weekends. But I missed the part of the announcement that there is no pen. I just looked at the photo. I think it's my bad! I'm not a blacksmith, just needed something for those who need to rasp quickly) The pens are pretty cheap anyway. lol! In any case, it seems to be of sufficient quality. I will use it this weekend. AFTER I will buy a pen. And then editing can come and contribute more to usage.

Pros
  • Cut to four sides
Cons
  • Compatibility
