Description of ๐Ÿ›€ Oak Bath Brush with Horsehair Bristles

The Horsehair Oak Bath Brush is constructed out of hard oak wood with soft horsehair bristles that are hand-wired, rather than glued in; the brush is naturally and resistant to mold and made to last. Horse hair is an excellent material in bathing brushes because it is soft and pliable while it is sturdy and durable and has a certain elasticity. In the late 1900s century a small brush manufacturing started out in Stockholm; it was a successful movement so successful that it remains today; now, as then, every Iris Hantverk brush is made by hand by visually impaired craftsmen. Handmade in Sweden from oiled oak and horsehair, this bath brush from Iris Hantverk features a convenient handle; soft and pliable yet very durable, horsehair bristles are ideal for bathing brushes. Care instructions; allow the brush to dry hanging or standing on the horsehair so that the water is transported away from the wood that is more sensitive to moisture.

A must have in the shower

A beautiful and functional addition to my soul. The brush is coarse enough to give a very clean feel. Looks good when not in use. The construction of the brush is impeccable and I really like how the horsehair is woven into the brush rather than glued on.

Brush away your worries

Great brush. The bristles are hard, not too soft and not too hard. I've been using this brush for several years now, not this single brush but this brand. Everyone has ordered several times. The construction is great. I highly recommend this brush. Great for swimming. It's wonderful what visually impaired people can do.

  • Fingers crossed

Quality bath brush

Well made quality bath brush. Pleasant feel but the bristles are softer than I expected, not that that's a problem, I was just surprised. I am happy with my purchase and look forward to a long lasting bath brush.

The best assembly, durable, high quality brushes. There is no ban.

After 30 years of daily use I finally had to replace it. I tried a few others before finding the original one, so I can honestly say it's the best. The wiring approach means no glue is used. so it doesn't fall apart in hot water. The lack of a plastic plate to hold the hair means the pieces won't break or fall out over time. will not rust over fabric. The non-detachable head ensures that it does not constantly slip off. A fairly long handle means you can reach between your shoulder bladesโ€ฆ

Beautiful but very filigree bath brush

This product is simply amazing. I love how the horsehair is tied to the tree. This gives the brush a very sleek look, unlike some brushes it has a white plastic layer that holds the brush together. The softness of the bristles suits me. HOWEVER, wood tends to splinter in humid environments. When the brush arrived I left it in the bathroom before using it to see how the wooden part would hold up to the humidity. After a week the wood became very rough. I had to sand and apply coconut oil to getโ€ฆ

The Parable of Wise and Foolish Builders

When I received this product, I couldn't help but think of The Parable of the Wise and the Foolish Builders, also known as The House Built on the Rock. For those who don't remember this parable, it is this: Therefore, I will compare everyone who hears these words of mine and does them to a wise man who built his house on a rock. And the rain fell, and the rivers overflowed, and the winds blew and fell on that house; and did not fall because it was founded on stone. Anyone who hears these wordsโ€ฆ
