You can buy something better

Bought this air compressor about 14 months ago. Thought it would be a handy compressor, relatively small and easy to use. It worked well at first, but quickly got bored. It got to the point where the barley was producing enough air to blow paint from a spray gun. I was very surprised about that. I've never had a problem with Iwata products, but this thing sucks. This compressor obviously doesn't have a tank, so it has to be running all the time, and it's pretty noisy. For about the same money…

Solid pump considering the price and noise level

This compressor works great for its price. I use it to scale plastic models with an airbrush and haven't had any problems with insufficient pressure as some have mentioned. The noise level is also very tolerable and not as loud as larger pumps with higher PSI. I tested it in my garden by turning it on on the patio and leaving the house. There was no sound outside of my home until I got very close to the gate (maybe 25 feet from where the compressor was located). I heard a slight buzz. This is…

Very nice, just right for the price.

When you're around it sounds pretty loud and the vibration will knock the crap out of your desk. At the same time, the packing foam panels in the pump box itself fit right underneath, completely eliminating vibration and not transmitting sound at all. I installed it in my room about 8 feet from the door and when I close that door you can barely hear it in the next room. Turn on the music and it's completely silent. This is an ideal small desktop air compressor that can supply a lot of pressure…

Good for beginners Not advanced

Bought this for the price and wanted to start airbrushing at my shop so I bought one to use where the air conditioning is running. Because the compressor works with a small pressure surge the first time you pull the trigger. I haven't seen any moisture build up, but I don't use the machine for very long, usually a maximum of 5 to 15 mini primers or base coat. For this purpose, it works very well once you have used it much longer and more intensively. I recommend a larger machine with a tank and

Smoked and burned after first turning it on

After turning it on it worked fine for about 30 seconds and I tried the air pressure on my airbrush (Iwata Medea Eclipse). Suddenly there was a loud *BOOM* and it stopped working and white smoke started to escape (the smell was terrible, toxic, it hurt your eyes). I had to get this out of my apartment as soon as possible, frantically opening all the windows and fans to disperse the toxic air (but being a millennial, of course not before I picked up my phone to pick up the smoke. who will die in
