Much needed upgrade for my glass

So easy to install! My rubber gasket fell apart and the plastic center piece was probably fine, but I replaced it and somehow the aluminum center piece makes sense, at least to me. I used a rubber mallet to tap the retaining clip and I'm done.

Pros
  • Replaces the factory plastic flange.
Cons

No more worrying about a lost gasket

The plastic snap rings on both of my MFCs used to fail and the gaskets often fell out when I changed the gas caps. Don't worry about it anymore. The replacement was very easy, with no special tools or hassle. JAGMTE produces a quality product with fast delivery and packaging. Absolute recommendation and I would buy again if necessary.

Pros
  • Never have to change a flange again
Cons
  • Fits

Required for Scepter Military Fuel Cans

Needed to upgrade Scepter Fuel Cans, kids. Gas or diesel canister. If the plastic cracks due to the bulging of the gasket, fuel will flow out. These rule it out. I've already done this with two banks and plan to upgrade the remaining banks to these. Yes, it's expensive, but you have to buy it once and then you'll be fine. Gasoline swells the seals, causing the plastic to crack. Gaskets were made for diesel fuel, so they also need to be replaced with Viton. Great company and they come very well…

Pros
  • Suitable for Scepter Military Fuel Cans MFC
Cons
  • Something Else
