Pretty good sound, works well with iPhone 8

Bought these for my wife as she got an iPhone 8 and wanted to listen to music and audiobooks while running. She seems to like them! She recharges them every 4-6 hours giving her over a week between charges. When I tried them out with their iPhone 8, the music sounded way better than I expected. I really had to position the earbuds properly so that they covered my ear well and once I got them in the right place the music sounded pretty good. I would buy another pair if they break or die or if I…

Unfortunately disappointing

Summary: They're good for the price* (assuming you can pick them up for around $50), but if you have the ability to spend more, you should. Please note that I am biased because I have been spoiled. Pros: - These are headphones; easy to hide, lightweight and you get passive noise isolation (not cancellation) from the gasket - the gasket is fantastic. They are reliable for training and make sure they stay in place. Cons: - The sound quality is okay for the price. I've been very spoiled by more…

Ideal for training, some connection problems

Pros: - Very good fit in the ears, they never fell out. - Easy controls (long press to skip songs! Took me a minute to figure out what ours is :P) Cons: - Bluetooth connection issues: I've found that they disconnect intermittently when my phone is relative to the headphones (e.g. the phone is in my pocket while cycling). I haven't had this problem with other headphones. Even after connecting sometimes the audio comes out through the phone speakers and not the headphones, I have to disconnect…

Not bad for casual use, not recommended for everyday use.

I like to use my headphones at work and on the train and I often listen to music or podcasts for more than 6 hours a day. I used to use cheaper bluetooth headphones but my favorite model was discontinued so I wanted to try the Jaybird Tarahs. I chose this model because it had good sound (not amazing, but good for the price) and a comfortable fit. that I could imagine wearing over a long period of time. However, silicone earbuds are not intended for frequent use as they started to change shape…

Comfortable and durable, ideal for running and the gym

These are great headphones. I've tried SEVERAL different types of Bluetooth headphones to upgrade my Yurbuds (which I still like but they're wired and very old but used to be the only headphones I wore because they were so comfortable) and these were them only ones I like! I bought these for marathon training and they are great for training, marathons and fitness training. Comfortable for hours, sounds great, blocks most noise, is lightweight and won't fall out! (They stay home for hours of…

Died after 3 months of use - DO NOT BUY!

UPDATE: After my initial review, I finally got a response from Jaybird, who sent me a new pair of headphones for free. Once they started talking to me they were pretty efficient in customer service which was nice. I changed my rating from one star to 3 stars mainly because the company handled the issue well. I would not buy these headphones again. The sound quality wasn't amazing, but acceptable for a workout. A charge lasted several days initially - I could typically get about 5 workouts from…
