🦖 Colossal Tyrannosaurus Dinosaur from Jurassic World Review

This is such a cool toy! We gave it to our son for his birthday and he absolutely loved it! It's super easy to assemble right out of the box, and the mini dinosaurs that you put in its mouth (sold separately) are easy to get in and out of through the small trap door. Totally worth $50 but be careful as this is an all plastic model. We haven't had an accident yet, but plastic toys that big make me paranoid that they might fall and break. I only recommend playing on rugs for younger children…

My 5 year old son got this for his birthday last week and absolutely loved it. It looks good; well drawn and looks realistic. It's very large (one of the reasons he wanted it) but quite heavy and awkward to move. You have to hold on to one of the legs and the tail to make it walk, and it tips over very easily. This giant figure is about the size of a small dog. While the paint job could use a little more detail, the sculpture more than makes up for it. This is a really great looking Tyrannosaurus Rex that goes perfectly with the 1/12 (6 inch) scale figures. The jaw joint is great for a roaring pose or for eating other characters. Amazing. The sculpture is great. The color application of my version leaves a lot to be desired. (I could toughen it up. I couldn't.) The color scheme is a bit like the "Orange Rex" that the new toys have. I remember the reddish brown Rex from the original line. While I think it deserves 5 stars, I'd like to start by saying it's not 'perfect', although it's made with my Tyrannosaurus Rex dinosaurs compared to Jurassic Park 90s. , which have a leathery rubbery texture and feel like an internal skeletal structure.
