Good antenna Antennas

Works great, especially at 14000kHz. I live in an RFI apartment and use Malahit DSP and a big improvement over the rod antenna.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Not the best

Very Loud Antenna: Wireless Antennas

This amplified antenna increases the signal strength but also increases the noise level. From my observation, the signal-to-noise ratio with this antenna was much lower than my vertical or 40 megapixel dipole. I do not need that.

Pros
  • Stylish and Modern Design
Cons
  • Useless Features

Good SWL antenna in antennas

I received an email that there is a problem with my order. There were no problems. Instead, it was a message from the seller asking for feedback. So here is my review: This antenna was easy to set up and now I get a lot of channels on my SDR. Featured!

Works well for the price.

Works well and for the price you can't complain about the performance. I use it upside down on my apartment balcony and you don't see it at all. It has a long cable from the box that the loop connects to and a separate box that you connect the power to which I assume the preamp goes to. I'm going to put everything in a box as I think reducing the length is best for noise reduction. I use it with a cheap 12-bit SDR with no problems.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Everything was bad from the start

I read great reviews about this product and decided to buy it. MLA-30+ found intact but upon inspection. The result was very disappointing. It made a lot of noise and the signals were barely audible. I could hear the same signals better on a short piece of wire. I immediately reported this to the seller and wanted to compare it with a similar but not + version. It took me a while to test the loop on my friend's MLA-30 and confirm that my MLA-30+ was defective. Returns or exchanges do not work.

Worked fine for a few days and died!

Well it works, but it's nothing special and seems a bit overpriced for what is just a preamp and a few cables. Performance is almost identical to 35ft cable except it drops below 500kHz and above 20MHz. Reception is good on 40 and 20m, but reception on 11m is much worse than on 35ft. This device has several advantages over a straight cable as it's much smaller and you can place it almost anywhere as long as you have it on a pole and you can rotate it to improve reception a bit or eliminate…

  • So far so good

Great easy to install antenna. HIGHLY recommended

Have had MLA-30 for about a year and a half and now MLA-30+. Full disclosure, I installed the MLA-30+ about 6 inches higher than the MLA-30+. But there is a clear difference. I get ham radio transmissions that never happened with the MLA-30. This is an antenna for beginners like me. If you can get it anywhere outside of your house/apartment you will hear ALL kinds of things. Shortwave, ham radio, etc. Definitely a great antenna. I don't know how it works indoors (probably depends on your…
