cheap ass for measuring and marking tools

I don't know why these things use such crappy rope. This string breaks just looking at it. I suspect it went back into production outside the US.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • No instructions

You will be impressed!

I am a contractor and have been building for 25 years. I admit that this is the most beautiful line I have ever filmed. It's very good and clear. It works so well!

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Don't buy it's junk

I'm a frame builder and use the chalk line hundreds of times a day and this lasted a day before the gears broke, save your money and buy the cheap one from the store . Box store doesn't believe the good reviews, it's rubbish

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Quality

Great line in the box, great box too. Love it.

I build houses and when I build a house I use some damn good chalk line. I like Dewalt but her line sucks. Tajima has the best line, but the gears are clogging. This Keson line is a good box and a good line. Love it. I'm glad I tried.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Minor problems

Haven't used it much but so far it's working well

Decided to use this for green chalk so it's of little use. What I don't like is that the handle doesn't fit securely even though there is room for it. You can place the pen grip in a small spot where it fits, but it tends to fall out. This does not affect the function of the tool, but can be annoying. The 3:1 ratio is spot on. Anything higher than this value makes the string very prone to flapping and tangling/knotting.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Good but not very good

Quality product made in the USA

Carpenter by trade and I have to say I love this chalk box so far. It holds a ton of chalk and is slightly larger than a Milwaukee box. I like what is made in the USA. He does everything he has to do and does it. Tajima quality but made in the USA so I will buy again. It has the same "stretch" line style as Tajima, but I don't see it as a disadvantage. If I had to pick one thing I don't like is that it's partly made out of plastic, but I knew that before I bought it so it wouldn't bother me.

Pros
  • Fits great for me
Cons
  • Fairly ok

American quality.

I've tried almost every chalk line available. I was a Tajima fan but they don't last long. I bought Keson 2 years ago and this is by far the best chalk box I have ever used. We literally install thousands of thin bricks every year and it still works. The leash is made of thin-diameter nylon that stretches, allowing you to pull long distances and get a straight line without breaking. Expert Advice. I use Tajima paint with this box instead of the traditional chalk. It leaves a clear, non-blurry…

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Speed
