It's great for this purpose, but the wire is a bit.

I am using this as a switch for a 12 volt 5 gallon swamp cooler. It's great for that purpose, but the cord is a little thinner than I expected and it tends to slip out of the socket unless you actually plug it in.

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • communication with seller

Do with solder but I fixed it.

Arrived damaged. The box was intact although there was no time to wait for a replacement. I removed the case and found that the solder for the pin had come loose and the wire was just dangling there. I spent the whole 5 minutes fixing it and it's been working great ever since!

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Good but not great

Works great, the switch feels nice and.

Works great, switch feels good, cable is good quality and durable. I would recommend. It's a bit long at the plug, but that didn't affect my use, but I did see it sticking out in a few spots. The end also glows red when activated, so be careful.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Hard to say

Ideal for low power devices

Ideal for low power devices. If you want to connect it to a bright light for roadside emergencies, make sure it's LED. Conventional light bulbs consume a lot of energy, overheat and stop working. I had to buy a high performance sensor for this light. But this one is good for LEDs.

  • Beautiful

Works lite on sensor

This is a $5 12v switch, it does what it's supposed to and comes with a fuse. and a very long cable. BAD: The sensor is missing, maybe 12, most likely 14, and it's light, I would cut the cable to the correct length and hope for the best. You can turn on your 12v and use the switch and be more helpful.

Pros
  • I'm holding my fists
Cons
  • I'm worried

Didn't work for me

I probably shouldn't blame the product because I could abuse it. I toasted it after one use. I hooked it up to a 12V 10A power converter as a power switch, which then controls a small 7.5 amp water pump. Okay after everything is hooked up I turn on the power and it ran for about 5 minutes before the fuse blew. Then I put in a 15 amp fuse, well the circuits must have blown and the bulb on the button blew and it went out from there. so if you ask me Try not to run anything over 3 amps if using…

Pros
  • Availability
Cons
  • I don't really like it, everything is fine

Unfortunately this item did not work when it arrived but I only discovered this after soldering it to two different items that I wanted to plug into. Then, when both elements failed, I decided to disassemble this connector - only found that one of the main wires in the block was badly soldered and was dangling. I was able to re-solder it to get it working, but I had to spend a lot of time troubleshooting before I found that little plus was the problem. It seems to be working fine now, but I…

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Socket required
