Smaller than expected

We already have some small water balloons and I was looking for bigger ones to diversify my daughter's basket of senses. As pictured they would be perfect. However, 80% of the water balloons are much smaller than expected from the picture. If you want water balloons and don't care about the size, then that's fine. But if you want beads in the size shown in the picture then this is not for you.

Pros
  • Easy to use

  • boring packaging

My almost two year old didn't like them at all

My almost two year old didn't like them at all. He was intrigued enough to touch her a few times, but didn't like the slimy feel. I, on the other hand, love how it feels. I hope he gets used to it over time. One problem we had was that many of the beads were broken or falling apart so when we removed our hands we had bits of gel stuck everywhere. I think that's why my toddler didn't like them as he hates getting his hands dirty.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Available in white only

Five Stars: Sports & Outdoor Play

My granddaughters love them! They are so smooth, refreshing to the touch and on the skin, and odorless! I recommend them. Just a tip before letting your kids play with them: I rinsed them well as some of them broke during handling and the shards became very soft/slimy. I followed the soaking instructions on the package. Also note: the bag I received was light in color; however, they are finished in a light color; not like in the photo; Maybe it was the chemicals in my tap water? They were full…

Not safe for babies False advertising

I followed the package directions and soaked the beads for 24 hours using 1 tablespoon of beads in 1 gallon of water. My toddler and I put our hands in the hydrated balls and they started falling apart. Breaks incredibly easily once wet and balls that don't break tend to develop cracks so I expect them to fall apart soon. The description says they are "reusable" and "safe for young children". They are a bunch of crap, they fall apart after a minute of use and break into small pieces that are…

So much fun! - Outdoor Sports and Games

I've never used water balloons before, they were great - now of course they're everywhere, but 2 1/2 tablespoons is 2 1/2 gallons, no kidding! And it barely scratched the surface of the packaging! That's a great price. Although the photo does not convey the colors. They're definitely not bright - they're much paler in color. See attached photo. I wish they were brighter, but that didn't take away from the fun. It's very cool how the transparent ones disappear in the water - and the colored ones

Ideal for your touch table!

These tiny plastic beads come in a very small pouch that cannot be resealed (put it in a ziploc bag). The package contains 1 tablespoon of pearls per 1 gallon of water, so make sure you have a large enough bowl. They need 24 hours to fully grow, so plan ahead when you really want/should use them! They start growing within minutes of being placed in the water, which is a joy to watch (or check on regularly because it's a slow process). Once fully formed they seem really interesting and my little

More beads than you need for years for little money

I've been poking around for quite some time. There are many very cheap beach balls out there and they are probably all of the same quality. I really do not know it. I used to only buy these. However, I've seen people complain about other products that are either too soft and break easily, or other products smell strange or something like that. I got a recommendation from a third party review site that these were better, so I bought them. You seem perfectly fine. I always use distilled water and

MarvelBeads vs Sooper Beads vs Sensory Jungle

I recently purchased a pack of MarvelBeads, Sooper Beads and Sensory Jungle. Here are my thoughts: MarvelBeads and Sooper Beads were knitted for the largest beads. Maybe Marvel could be a bit bigger, but it's so minor I could be wrong. Honestly, they could be the same beads made in the same factory but resold under different names. They look so much like my eyes. One difference is that the Sooper Beads contain a white bead. Neither Marvel nor Sensory had white, only transparent. Sensory…

So much fun for kids

My 2 year old son loves them. He could play with it for hours if we let him. They didn't grow as big as I expected, but they are quite large for their original size. The water droplets I've seen before were 1.5 to 2 times larger than this one, but I've never seen them before they were filled with water. So honestly I can't say they aren't as good because the other one could have been twice the size. I also didn't realize how long they soaked up the water completely. I filled them out and…
