They make perfect mason bee straws

I bought SlipSticks for mason bees but they are no longer available. They are on par with Slipsticks. The same dimensions. I'm already ready for spring - 7 months early!

Pros
  • Better for the environment than harmful plastic straws
Cons
  • Obsolete

Best value for money for homeware

I drink smoothies every day and buy big thick straws but they were enough for a thin smoothie and this was a good bill for the price . They were durable during smoothie use and single use.

Pros
  • Large pack ideal for restaurants, cafes and other food service establishments
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

My bees love them as household items

This is the first time I've tried just some straws with my mason bees. They like them a lot, although the bees have already used up all of my tuft stalks, so I don't know how the bees would react if they had another choice. Here's what I did: 1) used 4 rubber bands to make a bun about 6 inches in diameter; 2) used a hacksaw to cut the straws in half (the straws are a bit longer than the bees need; cutting in half also doubles the number of straws); so i now have two bundles, each with two large

Pros
  • Food safe, compostable, biodegradable and marine
Cons
  • Not sure
