🪵 KCT136508 Premium Kodiak Cutting Tools Review

I use this for milling aluminium, leaves a great finish, the only reason I got a new one is because I broke the shank, I haven't watched and it booted.

Haven't had any problems yet. The edge stays on and the ends don't break off. I wish it was maybe an inch longer. But who doesn't want that?

Excellent quality cutter! I used it for milling aluminum 6061. I had to mill quite a bit and this bit has held up great and continues to work great. I would definitely recommend it to everyone, it even comes with a small pouch to store the bit.

Excellent quality end mills. Bought for a small project at home. The drill worked great, never dulled and looked brand new after about 2 hours of aluminum cutting. . I needed a longer end mill for a specific project. After reading reviews of the Kodiak end mill I went ahead and paid the price hoping it was worth it. Well, let me tell you what it was. My cheap end mills at their best had nothing to do with this Kodiak. To be honest I don't think those cheap end mills can even be considered sharp compared to this one. Considering the abuse I went through trying to mill two 80% indentations with a drill press, it held up very well. The tool was very efficient in both drilling and milling and leaves an excellent finish. If you are considering this product for the same purpose, I would recommend using a milling machine. You get a much better finish (much less vibration) and don't have to worry about the bit slipping out of the chuck every five minutes (the first bottom one had a 3/8" hole punched in the bottom…
