I would recommend these to anyone

These flap disk were cheap and I was skeptical about how they would hold up but to my surprise they done very well and I would recommend them to anyone

Pros
  • Last very good. Good quality. Worth the money
Cons
  • Expensive compared to other available options

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Long lasting. in my review

I decided to try these flap disks out for the first time and was quite impressed on how long one disk lasts. I will def get these again.

Pros
  • Excellent Quality Product and good pricing
Cons
  • Requires specific safety measures for use

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good for the price good for me

They work well but because there Aluminum oxide they wear down rather fast but its a good price for a box load ive used high end ones that cost $13 a Peace so i can safely say good to have for backup

Pros
  • It is a good product with good durability
Cons
  • These work to grind down metal & welds but they seem to wear down fairly fast is my only complaint.

Revainrating 1 out of 5

They do not last at all.

These discs are toast after grinding for less than 30 seconds. They also took two weeks to get here. Ridiculous. Thanks for attention!

Pros
  • Cheap quality but cheap price so you decide.
Cons
  • Can cause vibrations or wobbling during use

Cleans Off Rust, Leaves a Nice Finish on Metal

These work fast and are easy to control compared to using harder tools like grinding stones. I like the pattern of the scratches that they leave behind. It reminds me of "engine turning". Of course, the pattern is random, but it is pretty nice considering that it takes no effort to make.

Pros
  • I use these everyday as a welder. They perform very well and will deffinetly purchase again.
Cons
  • Not effective for finishing or polishing work

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Great price, but wears to useless within a couple minutes.

This product looks very similar to the more expensive brands, which are at least twice as much. However, they have about 1/4 the lifespan of the other ones. Once I use up the supply, I’ll go back to the trusted brands.

Pros
  • works great
Cons
  • Inconsistent grit distribution among discs

Flat Disk Sanding Grinding Wheel

Very coarse and really works well for removing rust on angle iron. I would purchase this again. Good value for the price.

Pros
  • They wear down a little bit fast but they work well and are worth it for the price.
Cons
  • Requires additional smoothing or finishing after use

These worked good on my review.

I use these cleaning up subwoofer baskets. They work well. Just have to be careful. They can take material off rather quickly using a grinder. I built an attachment to use with my drill. Makes quick work of cleanup of the leftover material quick and easy now. For what you get not bad.

Pros
  • Worked as they should. Seem to hold up well
Cons
  • Can contribute to workplace dust and debris

Works well. in my review

Bought this to remove rust from several feet of angle iron that I was repurposing. It was a tight fit in my angle grinder but it worked much better and faster than the original rotary wire brush I first tried and did a much better job. Very pleased.

Pros
  • Works like it should.
Cons
  • they break very quickly as soon as you sand a little and they start to loosen the pieces

Item did not work because it was too thin.

This item did not work for me because it was too thin and would not tighten on the angle disc. it would have been better for me only if it was at least 1/4 inch thick. I did not discern this fact when I ordered it. The selling page did not clearly explain this.

Pros
  • Have not used these yet. but seems like good quality.
Cons
  • Not recommended for use on ceramic or glass

good for hobby in my review

I do metal art as a hobby, these sand discs work extremely well to finish welds and to clean rusty parts to be welded, quite a bit less expensive than my usual supplier.

Pros
  • Work great! I use it with my all American sharpener.
Cons
  • Not suitable for wet sanding or polishing

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good product for a good price.

I am not working on any project at present that I will be using them for now but put one on one of my 4 1/2" grinders and sanded down some broken welds on some junk metal I have both carbon and stainless and it worked very well.

Pros
  • Great flap discs for the money
Cons
  • Can be difficult to maneuver in tight spaces

If your in a pinch theyll work

Not horrible wheels but I think you would be better off paying extra for dewalt flap wheels. After about 3/4 of the wheel is wore down they kinda glaze over and dont want to cut real well

Pros
  • They sharpen my lawnmower blades and that is all I use them for and they do the job.
Cons
  • May not be efficient for removing rust or paint

Do OK for welding and fabricating work.

In the past 6 months the price has increased 3 dollars for a 10 pack. If you good for OK performance these might be the ones for you. I won't purchase them again. Compared to others I've used they don't last that long. The reason I bought before was because of the price. Now that the price has jumped and seeing that they wear fast I'll have to switch to another brand.

Pros
  • Works great for stock removal for wood and metal.
Cons
  • May require additional training or skill to use effectively

Angle grinder - light duty

Bang for buck and does a good job on wood and light metal sanding. I would recommend to hobbyists. I used with my angle grinder to clean and remove rust.

Pros
  • I am happy with them.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use in high humidity conditions

Work great for me in my review

I used this on steel and brass. It worked great till it starting falling apart from hard use. I'd get them again. That's my feedback.

Pros
  • no
Cons
  • Not suitable for heavy duty work

Revainrating 2 out of 5

It's a cheap-o but it'll get some work done.

For some minor grinding/sanding these should be fine. I was stripping rust and paint off of some metal and thought this would be a good cost savings rather than $9 for a single disc from the box stores. They wore through and became ineffective fairly fast, for my usage, and got 4x the life out of the one that i got from the box store.

Pros
  • They sand just fine, they are flexible and low life. Definitely recommend for non industrial work.
Cons
  • Can be difficult to control on curved surfaces

Best bang for your buck!

These work great at ripping paint and rust off of metal to prepare for welding, also better deal than harbor freight! Can't go wrong with these I definitely recommend. I bought 80 grit and would recommend going with a higher grit on delicate surfaces.

Pros
  • Stripping an old boat trailer…worked VERY WELL!!
Cons
  • There's way better out there for the same price.
