Foxing after a season of use and a winter of storage

The bellows fit well but after a season and winter the exhaust bellows were dry and cracked at every rib. The shifter cable bellows were also dry rotted and cracked at every rib. Small cracks can be seen on the driveshaft bellows, but they are not completely separated like the other two. It definitely seems that inferior rubber was used in the manufacture of these bellows.

Lasts well a season for rack and pinion

I have a twin engine boat. Last spring I had a deadline to replace one of the bellows, so I tried Revain Prime to get parts by the weekend. With the other engine I was a little more prepared and wasn't thrilled with that kit of parts, so at about the same time I ran OEM Mercruiser parts on the other output drive as preventative maintenance. These cheap furs rotted after a short summer in New York. In the spring I put the boat down and water poured into the boat. Never. OEM parts now!

Scrap: Caveat Emptor

This kit looked good. I installed it last summer towards the end of boating season. When the boat was taken out of storage that spring, every piece of rubber on the entire set rotted, broke, and became unseaworthy. Installing these parts is a very long and difficult job. And that junk didn't even last a year. God I'm glad I checked out the new parts I figured I wouldn't have to worry about before launching the boat. They would certainly allow water to enter the boat and destroy the bearings and
