This is exactly as pictured. I am happy with my purchase. I have washed the comforter several times and after washing and drying it looks great. It's lightweight so it felt great in spring and summer. I'm sure I'll use a blanket underneath in cooler weather. I really needed a blanket in winter (arctic frost). The duvet looks good but what really impressed me was the pads, they have been washed many times and have not faded. All linens still look new.

This duvet set is beautiful and is the perfect finishing touch to any room. However, I was disappointed with how thin the material on the duvet was. The euro bezel that came with it was actually heavier than the duvet cover. If this were to be used in a non-guest room I would return it as I don't see it holding up to everyday use. Just not the quality I would have expected from Laura Ashley. It is beautiful and perfect for decoration, but I would only recommend it for everyday use, not suitable

That's barely enough for my regular twin mattress; If I don't tuck in the top sheet and sides of the duvet, they are visible under the edge of the duvet. The duvet sometimes slips out of my bed at night. I've been using it for about a month and the filling seems to be moving along the top edge within the blanket. This is the set I've been waiting for. I ignored the negative comments because I used to have Laura Ashley bedding. I've been so happy with it in the past. I didn't even take it out of the packaging. The fabric didn't look good so I opened it up to get a better look. I don't know what to compare it to other than the backing of a cheap dollar store pot holder.
