The designs and detailed explanations are inspirational, if a little daunting at times (especially for me when I count how many hundreds of dollars of beads I will probably have to buy despite my vast bead collection to complete one of the complicated projects close). Bracelet made with 45 Czech dagger beads measuring 5 x 16mm PER INCH (and the ones Ms. McCabe uses in her project are intricate, beautiful, high quality ($$$$) daggers). 315 daggers for her 7" bracelet .Aren't those fancy daggers…

Laura is a true master of her craft! But I already knew!

First of all, I have to admit that I'm a real Laura McCabe fan. As a sub-intermediate beginner, I was fortunate enough to take her Keshi beading course a year or two ago. I learned so much in one class that I fell in love with beads forever and completing this necklace definitely took my skills to a higher level. Don't be afraid to try something new and challenging - it's how we get better. I think Laura has wonderful talents, skills and knowledge. She is also very good at writing explanations…

Great new book from McCabe!

Laura McCabe is one of my favorite bead teachers and I'm excited for the release of her new book which I pre-ordered a few months ago. The wait for her new book was definitely worth it! It has eighteen awesome projects, and each teaches you a new skill. This book differs from her first book in that the first is about using Swarovski crystals in all projects. This second McCabe book doesn't have that "classy" factor that her first book had, but every part is really nice. The pieces are a little…
