I think I could have done a really good part because I had no problems with the recording.

I bought these for my dog so he can communicate when he wants to go out, play or eat. I think I got a really good part because I had no trouble recording the voice. It actually sounds better when spoken softly. She learned very quickly to use the words "outside" and "playing". We had her for a few days and she learned to "play" the first day. While my husband and daughter were reading the toy box, she would hit play several times and seem excited when they tossed her a ball or playedโ€ฆ

Rise of the Talking Dogs!

Following in the footsteps of speech therapist Christina Hunger and her dog Stella (@hunger4words on IG), I bought these for my French Bulldog puppy. She is 16 weeks old and is getting used to it very quickly! I've already bought a second pack so we can add more words to her board. Another reviewer mentioned that it would be better if the write/erase button was on the bottom or that a stylus had to be pressed (like the reset buttons on some devices), and I can't help but agree. My dog hasโ€ฆ

Good devices, just didn't fit my scenario

I bought these hoping to help my 6 year old son who is autistic and doesn't speak to communicate. All items arrived quickly, well packaged and undamaged. 2 AAA batteries are required, which are not included in the scope of delivery. They are easy to use. All you have to do is hold down the little button on the side and speak loudly and clearly. I found the volume to be sufficient for our needs. Recording time is around 5 or 6 seconds and I found the buttons to be responsive. What I didn't likeโ€ฆ

**If you are buying these for your dog, please read this first**

The buttons can be pressed 8 to 15 times before the batteries die. I bought it on 8/20, received it on 8/25 and the 26th was my first day of using it. I am writing this on September 27th; Almost exactly 1 month later. The first set of batteries I put in them were a foreign brand so it was really annoying when they died after about half a dozen clicks, but I figured that was the reason. I then went to the store to buy new familiar batteries. It was yesterday. About 24 hours passed and the sameโ€ฆ
