Toddler loves nature exploration toy

I bought one of these for my 3 year old grandson and he loves it. It was easy for him to use (and he ALWAYS wants to "make it himself"! I ended up buying one for my neighbor's 4 year old daughter for Christmas and she loved it too. You don't have to worry about gifting one to duplicate others.Good product.

We are happy with it

Works great! We all love the images on the discs, but why do the numbers have to be so prominent? My autistic son is obsessed with numbers, not pictures! We all also agree that we would like to see more images of stars and constellations. Our son is easy to use and the pictures look great on the wall from any distance.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Thin

High quality toy projector.

My 7 year old granddaughter has developed an interest in space and planets. She loves this projector and gave us a planetarium demonstration. Her three-year-old younger sister also likes this toy, but she cannot use it without her sister's help. I hope Learning Resources will make more slides for the projector. Good price and works well for a toy projector.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Love it! Want more ammo.

I like it very much. Also, my son loves it. He is seven years old and has autism. He loves counting down and launching the spaceship. I like that it's lightweight and allows me to move it around easily, making it look like a spaceship is flying over our ceiling. The control knob is very simple, he can turn it on/off and move it. Here you go!

Pros
  • Sea of positive emotions
Cons

Easy and fun for a 3 year old

This really got our 3 year old grandson interested. Easy to use. Would give it 5 stars but flipping the disc to a new picture is quite difficult for a 3 year old, the base doesn't attach and it's hard to know what planet we're observing. The included booklet has a written description of each image and disc, but is difficult to use when using the projector.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Goes away

Funny space projector!

My 3 year old son loves this space projector! We leave it in a different image every night before bed (it has an automatic 15 minute timer so it turns itself off and doesn't waste batteries) and it's surprisingly bright and has a fairly sharp image for a 15- dollar projector toy. My son also used it as a flashlight and I love that it's small and portable and you can move it around so it can be projected on the ceiling, wall, closet door, etc. I wish we could buy more slides/floppy disks. s for…

Fun for a 4 year old in Nature Exploration Toys

Our 4 year old loves the projector and takes it to bed with him most of the night. He likes to move her across the ceiling to make her look like she's flying rockets, planets, etc. The purpose of the number is to allow the user to look up what the image is in the instruction manual, but it seems unnecessary and definitely reduces the effect of seeing the image on the ceiling at night. I wish they would just leave the number. (But I don't see it in some of the uploaded photos in other reviews…

Pros
  • Easy Installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Amazing Toy: Nature Exploration Toys

Today we received the projector and I can say that this is the best toy I have ever bought. My niece is only two years old but she loved it from the first moment. Of course, she still does not understand anything about the planets, but she likes to look at different pictures with bright colors and shapes, and in fact, Saturn is her favorite. The product is well designed, perfect for children's hands, the handle is perfect for keeping the projector close, the picture is great! I never thought it

What a great idea!

My 3rd (now 4th) daughter loves this projector. The only downside is that there are not enough slides. We would pay in full for the extra slides (it doesn't even have to be spacious). We turn off the light in her room before bed and use the bedroom walls for projections. Sometimes she just likes to name the images and other times she giggles and tries to block the projection and laughs at her movement and she also likes to control the projector so it's a great idea. The photos aren't…
