Whippy Leather Braided Fashion Buckle Review

This is a fairly good quality belt. It is firmly sewn but remains flexible. There is a screw at the end of the buckle so you can unscrew the strap from the buckle and cut it to the length you want and then screw it back on. Since my weight fluctuates wildly, this type of belt works great for me as the holes run the full length of the belt so it can be increased or decreased simply by selecting a different hole and buckled it on. Returned a few days later. It smells like some kind of chemical used to treat leather. Since it's made in China, I don't trust it. Chemicals used in Chinese food production are poorly regulated. Beware.

I like to wear a braided belt with casual jeans. They're easy to install and when I'm overeating outside, they're easy to adjust to any position. This belt looks very nice. I love the color and it goes well with what I'm wearing. It's not too slack and not too stiff. Usually, over time, with repeated use, the skin will begin to crack. I hope it lasts longer than my other from another brand.

It's time to get rid of the belt I used for shorts or other casual pants. I have never used this type of belt before, it is a woven style. In fact, I was a bit dubious that I would like it. Instead, I found it fit just right and closed easily. It is actually more than easy to attach the buckle as there are so many places to install the buckle. It is also excellent for a very casual look. In general just great.

I was glad to find this at Best Buy. My husband wanted one because he was wearing out a belt he had for years. We looked at three local stores and couldn't find a braided belt. I took a size larger than usual because he gains and loses weight every now and then. Fits well and looks very nice.

My husband wears a 38 waist which means all his belts are the same size. This belt is said to be 41 feet and under in length, but it doesn't fit close to either end. He couldn't fasten his belt even though he usually wears it. He would have had to reduce his waist to 34 for this belt to fit. And while a 34 inch waist is admirable, that's not going to happen anytime soon in my husband's world!

The package also smelled very musty. It couldn't be in our house. It's still hanging outside after seven days. Will return.

Nice looking belt. Well made, heavy but not too heavy. The clasp is made of dark satin nickel. Overall this is a great everyday belt but looks good enough to use on a dress as well. The color is very dark brown, almost black, coffee? The smooth inner and outer lining makes the pants fit better around the waist. The width of 1.25 inches is suitable for both dresses and everyday wear. Weaving allows you to adjust the size wider than just punched holes. The size is also right. Very pretty.

Very nice belt and very cheap price. I ordered size 32-38 and it runs very small! I think this is much more suitable for 28"-32". My waist is about 32 inches and after I buckled it was missing almost 2 inches of belt length. Order a size or two larger. It is possible that this braided belt will stretch (lengthen) with use.

I don't remember when, but a few years ago I became a fan of braided belts. I love your flexibility depending on how tight or loose you want your belt. Instead of having 4-5 holes per inch or so on a traditional belt, a woven belt allows you to thread the tongue through the belt anywhere you like. The belt width is great. The look allows me to wear it with everything from casual to dressy. I like it! I've been wearing this belt regularly for about a month so can't comment on its durability yet,

This is such a good belt! It's a little heavier than regular braided straps, but it's made from high-quality leather so solidly I'm sure it will last for many years to come. The skin is a beautiful dark brown, intricately woven. The end of the belt is expertly whip stitched - truly impressive craftsmanship. The buckle is attractive but unobtrusive, goes well with the belt. My husband is so happy with this belt that he put it on and wore it all day!

I have a 35" waist and 32-35" is barely enough. I ended up ordering a second 36-40 inch strap so I could have one for "public outings". Otherwise it is very well made and I am very happy with it.

The tape was great until the single screw holding everything together fell out, now it's useless. My last belt lasted 2 months.

Good belt. The braided leather appears to be well built and the design includes buckle pin holes in the pattern. This means the holes are more closely spaced and allows for more precise adjustment than traditional straps with pin holes that are 1 inch apart. Quality material and performance. Good.

I was surprised by the quality of this belt. It looks like real leather and has held up well so far. It also applied to the size.

I have had this belt since June 2021 and wear it almost every day. Typically, this type of belt only lasts 6 months before the braid frays and unravels. However, this belt has outlasted any belt of this style that I have had. in the last 10 years. Very happy with this purchase. Save money compared to department store brands that cost more and last a lot less time. Will buy again and hope the quality stays the same.

I don't usually like the "braided" style of the belt, but it looks a little better and stronger than similar styles in stores. The color has a slight glossy sheen that looks gorgeous. Pretty decent belt.

I have a 38" waist and ordered this belt in my normal size, but it was too small. Gave it to my son-in-law and it fits him perfectly. The quality seems good but for some reason the size didn't fit me.
