LEGO Maniac building toy

I love Lego, probably too much to be honest. But I've had my eye on this model since it was announced. I'm so glad I finally decided to buy it. Sometimes it takes a little while because I usually spend so much on set. But it looks absolutely amazing. The additional upgrades you can install look great too. I prefer the classic style but it still catches the eye!

Pros
  • Sturdy finish
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Amazing build! Nice step forward for sets.

This build was very nice and included some really interesting components. Overall this is an improvement over the Caterham Seven 620r (21307). The finished set feels more solid and the personalization is a nice bonus. There are a few stickers, but mostly they are limited to license plates and ancillary elements (rearview mirrors, canister markings, engine part). Where it counts (Mustang logo, GT side panels, hood, roof etc.) there are plenty of pre-printed parts. Worth the money, I would…

What a great set

I don't often buy big, expensive Lego sets but the Mustang is my favorite car in the world so after a year of waiting I decided to go for it. $150 is expensive for any toy, but it looks too good on my desk to say anything other than "worth it." It's as big as it looks in the photos, the steering wheel moves the front wheels, the hood and trunk open, the seats slide forward, the doors open and the rear suspension can be lowered and raised to give it extra power to lend. the look of the car if…

Interesting detailed structure!

My recent 10 year old son who is an avid Lego lover bought this with his birthday money. He put together 15 Speed champions, but it takes about 30-45 minutes to complete and he wanted something more challenging. He has also built several LEGO Technic vehicles and although it takes a little longer to build, this creator was more than his speed. It's bigger and more detailed and took him a WHOLE day (assuming it was the first). There was 1 time he needed help, but in most cases it was him and him

Another gem from Lego!

Fantastic recreation of an automotive classic. The Lego design team is incredibly talented. Seeing this Mustang evolve with every step gives a wonderful sense of the attention to detail that went into the creative process. favorite details? The doors are just amazing, especially the hinges. The ability to change stance is also very intelligent, although I have to say. I prefer the default look. Value. Now, all Lego sets don't come cheap for what you get (a few plastic pieces), but the…

First "real " set in two decades

So a few weekends ago I took a Ford Mustang (model number 10265) and put it together. The Lego man has come a long way. Below are some of my observations/thoughts on this set and Lego in general, given my absence from the hobby for so many years. choice of details. There are so many new parts, and many of them solve problems that have existed, as far as I can remember. Upset about. So many instances of "if only I had this or that thing, it would be a lot easier." To be honest, some of them…
