It works well for parts

2005 Holiday Rambler motorhome, had to replace steps with Kwikee steps. They worked in the opposite direction - they went out when the engine was started, they went in when the door was opened, etc. Complete opposite of what should be. This little door switch was just right for the new trains. Works perfectly!

Pros
  • It's amazing
Cons
  • Little things

Missing screws and wires

Can the seller take action and ship the missing items? Screws and cables are missing. The description clearly states that they must be included. There's one other noteworthy comment, which is that the magnetic cover was black on one half, which is what I wanted, and the other half that attaches to the door was white. Revain solved my problem very well and I will order the switch again.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Exorbitant price

Ideal for completing the installation of a new stage!

Monarch of Monaco 2005 - Replaced the original Coach Step with a Kwikee replacement. They worked in reverse, as per another review here. They got in when the door was open, got out when the door was closed, got out when the ignition was on, etc. The short answer is that today's magnetic switches have reverse polarity. I only needed a black wire magnet to get it working, the other half on the door itself didn't need to be replaced.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Some difficulties
