🚰 Drain Effortlessly with Lisle 17912 55 Gallon Drum Drain Funnel Review

I am very disappointed. When I saw Lyle, I assumed quality. Feels very thin. In several places it can be seen that there was not enough material for the press / mold (rough texture), the drain hole is not fully open.

Works exactly as intended. The only thing I would do is enlarge the drain hole (there is a protrusion that reduces the size of the 'funnel' in the drain hole) to allow the oil to drain out of the sump faster.

Exactly what I need. Ideal for a 55 gallon oil drum. Convenient cutouts for emptying filters. This makes our oil collection area much cleaner than using a traditional funnel on top of the drum. This is a must have for any professional shop.

it's not high enough on the sides, it ends up making a mess with hot oil squirting over the rim and draining so slowly it leaks. Ideal for oil filters after they have been removed to drain into a sump or drain a small amount of oil

This item was purchased and returned because it did not have enough room for coolant or oil to enter the barrel. We have both a steel keg and a PTFE (plastic) keg that we tried this product on. The attachment to the steel shaft was better than the plastic shaft and being within the outer crown ring I would say a worthy addition for those who have more patients than staff.

Carefully installed a torque converter on it for draining. Came back the next day and the plastic appears to be permanently creased in the middle and now puddles. I get that TC is heavy, I also think if you're the type of person who dumps used motor oil into 55 gallon drums and buys stuff like that, you'll do it with heavier items from time to time. Great idea with mediocre thickness.
