Nice price, good quality.

If frequent use is expected and characteristics such as overwriting speed are important, perhaps a more solid option should be considered.

Pros
  • Given that the frequency of use of this device is minimal, then in terms of price-quality ratio for me the best option. There are no complaints about work (recording, playback).
Cons
  • Flimsy as expected

A wonderful product, it's nice to use.

There was a need to burn a CD, but the drive in the computer broke. It is not convenient to take the system unit for repair, it takes a long time, and it is expensive. I bought this drive for 1700r. The purchase is satisfied.

Great alternative to Apple Superdrive.

At almost half the price of an Apple Superdrive this seems like a great alternative. Pros: Lightweight body (looks like faux brushed metal) Uses only one USB cable, does not require external power or a secondary USB port connected to power. I like the tray because you don't have to worry about discs getting stuck. We've come across a couple of Superdrives where drives get stuck due to faulty eject mechanisms or kids try to insert a drive when it's already in. Disadvantages: none.

Pros
  • Done
Cons
  • Expensive

works fine for what i need.

Small and light. almost feels fragile. but in my case there is no option to install an optical drive. So I needed something if I need to use an optical drive. and yes. You can download/install it. didn't do much with it. except to test if it works in my use case. That's how it is :)

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Slightly crumpled

Works great with Windows 7

Recently the DVD RW drive on my desktop died and I needed a new one. After giving it some thought I decided to go with an external drive since many newer desktops no longer have 5 1/4 inch drive bays. I think with this guy I'm covered for any future desktop or laptop I can get my hands on. This is a great little ride. The case is made of plastic, but still feels quite solid. It is very thin so it easily fits in a laptop bag. Another nice feature is that it only requires an extra power adapter…

Pros
  • Works well for many
Cons
  • Some difficulties

The black case material is NOT glossy and therefore will not show fingerprints. It has a matte finish in a plastic case. Model: eBAU108-11. Made in China (like 99% of CD/DVD drives). The CD tray slides out 100% the size of a CD, so you can load it east (good). Manufactured August 2020. USB cable included. Don't worry about the bundled software on the CD. The performance meets your expectations. I ripped the CD at "maximum" speed and it took 7 minutes (two passes, zero errors) to rip a typical…

You can't ask for more from a DVD drive

I've bought several Lite-On drives over the years. All, without exception, worked long hours with no problems. This drive meets all my expectations. Boot time is very quick compared to other drives I've used. When prompted to play a video, it does so very quickly. The disc tray has a large cutout for easy disc removal. The only downside I found was the length of the cable that came with it. I replaced the included USB cable with a slightly longer one with no ill effects. The Lite-On price is…

Pros
  • . Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Quality
