overheating Bad water flow.

Easy installation. Very similar to the OEM. As others have said, the metal cup liner appears to rotate inside the case. My boat overheated after installation. It pumps water, but not enough to keep the engine warm. I removed the old housing with the new impeller and installed it. Now it doesn't overheat and has good water flow.

Pros
  • Engine cooling and air conditioning
Cons
  • High price

everything went smoothly

drove a boat to the lake and noticed that it got hot very quickly. I was there. After driving it for about an hour and letting it cool down I took it out of the water, when I got home I removed the bottom block and inside the case the metal cup that the impeller spins in, separated from the case without enough water in the to let the engine. I will edit them when I contact them.

Pros
  • water pumps
Cons
  • security

Save yourself a lot of hassle and buy a genuine Quicksilver

This took long enough to get the clutches running for a few minutes. Took it out on the water and ended up less than a mile from the boat ramp and overheated. Luckily I don't think I damaged the engine. Went back to the ramp and took everything apart. The metal shell on which the impeller fins rest separated from the body and did not pump water. I was hoping that I would have better luck with this product like the others, but that didn't happen. I installed an original last week and it seems to
