"Battle with the old tip "

Didn't know that the tip of the grease gun was completely worn out over the years. I replaced the old one with a new one and voila, now I can easily hold the tip while lubricating. Easy tip replacement for significant frustration relief.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Functionality

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works well - suitable for basic use.

To be honest they seem quite suitable for normal use of a grease gun. I only use them on a manual pump gun, and they're small enough to fit in places where the DSLR with big nozzles is hard to reach. Even if I upgrade to a fancier lube nozzle, I still want to have it handy.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Communication with the seller

Slips on but does not remove

I wish I had dedicated a review to the "Yambob" on August 17, 2014, pointing out that these tips DO NOT come once installed. They just won't come off the Zerk fitting on my grease gun. Literally! The Zerk fitting eventually came loose but still wouldn't come loose. Not recommended.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • I have no particular complaints about it, everything is fine

Good replacement clutch

These clutches were a huge improvement over the one that ended up in my grease gun. I was a little worried about how difficult it would be to remove this coupling from the fitting and it does NOT come loose easily, but I had no problem loosening it by twisting the coupling by pulling on it - it came loose. easy with every use.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Great value, best tools and equipment

Matches my marine style compact grease gun that fits in boat trailers and homes. It screws on properly and works well, snaps in firmly, doesn't pop out although to be honest I've only used it on 8 fittings so far. The only side throw I had was on some frozen Zerk fittings and then I had to push pretty hard to make it. For the price, they're a great buy.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Is grease leaking from the tip of your grease gun?

Wanted to lubricate my boat trailer bearings with EZ-Lub fittings. My new grease gun attached and the grease just flowed out of the coupler tip. Couldn't figure out why grease was coming out of the end of the clutch and not getting into the hub. Was thinking maybe a clogged zerk, clogged bearing tube, etc. I tried my NEW grease gun on a few other fittings and it did the same thing, the end of the coupler came out. I felt like I was just unlucky and the clutch tip was bad, damaged, broken…

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Good but not great
