This comforter is NOT 100% cotton. Only one side is cotton and the other side is a polyester/cotton blend. It's also very cheaply assembled with a single stitch. I didn't even open it, just sent it back after reading the label.

I ordered a King/Calif King and it is sooooo short. The sides are not long enough to even cover the mattress! Wouldn't order again if it wasn't a queen because it definitely doesn't fit a king and doesn't fit a California king!

Arrived in a small package. No weird or strong odor. Lighter but really retains heat. Haven turned it over to use the other side. 100% cotton, I don't like synthetics. Not crazy about the waffle pattern, but don't think about it anymore. Four to five long strands between the stitching points (to hold the padding) on the waffle side had to be cut. I took some helpful photos but couldn't post them using my MacBook. I did not understand anything.

Do not buy this product if you are used to a soft and comfortable bedspread. It is filled with cotton and not like a pillow or regular duvet. It is very rigid and not flexible. I don't even think you can fold the top without tucking it in as it will straighten back up. The photos I posted try to show the stiffness and how it stands on its own. I wasn't expecting a super quality duvet at this price point, but I wasn't expecting a hard duvet either as I've seen better quality at a lower price.

This item came in standard Revain packaging and is packaged as you would expect for a quilt. I just want to mention that I live in one of the hottest parts of the US (lower left corner of Arizona) where temperatures were in the triple digits as early as late April. As long as I keep the air conditioning running, I don't keep the house in sub-zero temperatures - say 76/77 at night - to save on my utility bills.
