Excellent quality, best lab, safety and work gloves

I bought these a size 7 (small) to put in my son's emergency bag. The quality is excellent. I can lift a boiling cauldron out of the fire with them and they still look the same. So it looks like they're holding up. I have to order a few more pairs for our store. The only thing is that they are big. I usually wear a medium with medical gloves and they fit me perfectly with room left. So I would like to see a very small one that is better suited for children or people with smaller hands.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Can be damaged

There is a hot foil stamping machine. They were bought to protect against burns. I like them in general, but they are too big (size 7 bought) for a woman's hand. They keep the heat out, but I take them off a few times because the rubber tips are thicker than I was hoping for, so I can't easily lift or manipulate small objects. Maybe they're just a little big. Now I prefer them as "tacks" because they get in the way of my work.

Surprised by the quality

I am a pipe fitter and I solder copper pipes with brass fittings, ring and end feeds. So you know that the finished pipe is heated to 1200-1300°. I honestly didn't expect these gloves to be so cheap, even in a pack of 10! It would even take a week! So far I have only used one pair, gave another pair to a colleague. It is excellent! I burn a class 3 rod down to the last 1 1/2 small pieces of the rod, aim the flame at the fitting and my hand is very close and the gloves stay on! I work in a…

I'm a flight attendant and I use these gloves when removing cooked meals from the galley ovens. Ovens cook at temperatures ranging from 130°C (266°F) to 150°C (302°F). I can quickly unload over 200 wrapped aluminum shells with these gloves. Thermal protection is great, and the light weight still allows for great dexterity, which is especially important when loading hot food parcels into thin boxes. I've used these MAPA gloves as well as their midweight orange gloves. These lightweight gloves…

Well I had to give a 5 star rating because I honestly love these gloves. The description title and part of the description clearly state a size 7. I'm a size 11 so it sucks. I have a size 7 pair and have had them for over a year now and they are still in good condition but definitely worn. I work for a manufacturing company that makes PCBs for airplanes and all kinds of high tech devices. That's why I use these gloves every day and almost punctually solder components on circuit boards. These…

Great for managing burning logs!

I bought these for my husband to use when stacking firewood in our pit or fireplace. He would always grab the logs with his bare hands and move them around while the fire was burning and the logs needed to be added. After a few "almost" burns I ordered these gloves. He now wears them and can move hot logs (by grabbing the end outside the flame, of course, not the part that's actually burning), which is enough to protect his hands from the heat of the fire. Great value for money and so far…
