Looks good but quality can be improved

Looks good but quality is poor. After playing for a few times, the first day we received it, you can see the surface starting to scratch.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Empty

Used for 2 year old on jigsaw puzzles

Bought to help my 2 year old learn jigsaw puzzles and recognize animals and shapes. He likes it a lot, especially trying to figure out which part goes with which section. I recommend this product for every child's development.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Perfect for little fingers

I bought this for a 17 month old baby. He has a few other wooden puzzles with small wooden pegs, but these ones with large handles suit him better. I actually changed the puzzle by putting pictures of relatives from other cities under each animal. He could remove and replace parts himself. Great puzzle game for little people!

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Melissa and Doug got it wrong again

This puzzle features your grandmother's doorknobs for babies/toddlers to grab. You are too big. My child looked at it, tried to grab the pieces, saw that among the pieces there were only illustrations, what he took out put it back and that was the only interest he showed in this product. He loves puzzles but this one was a hit in under 5 minutes.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Not as fat as the others

Something broke and we had to glue it together

1 year old birthday gift, large handle puzzles are perfect. When a child picks up a puzzle piece, an animal sticker appears, showing the child where the animal returns. That sticker under the giraffe was a disaster and we had to peel it off and put it back on right before the party. I was surprised because usually Melissa & Doug toys are of very high quality.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Communication with seller

1 year loves it!

This is one of the many first birthday gifts I've sent my grandson. He loves all the big Melissa & Doug puzzles I sent him and plays with them every day. Right now he's more interested in getting pieces out of holes, carrying them around, and banging them together like cymbals. He learns when his mom talks to him about shapes, colors, animal names and animal sounds. Soon he will learn to put the pieces back into the puzzle.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • No instructions

Wood chips come loose

I am disappointed with this product because it has a pressed chipboard in the middle. It's peeling off and I'm afraid to give it to my child. I don't want any pieces of wood in his mouth or his eyes. I was very happy about it and then quickly turned my back on the whole company. This tree is strong; but it's also fluffy and I find it dangerous. Since I opened it I don't know what to do with it. I don't want to give it to any other child either.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Mostly good but...
