Keeps feet warm.

These socks are great! I bought these to wear with ski boots because I have a wide calf and the extra padding around the calf makes the boots very painful. They kept my feet warm all night skiing and not sleeping. Just a warning, without the packaging they looked huge (like I thought I would have to send them back) but they fit great and after 1 wash they shrunk a bit and are perfect now.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Very expensive

Well made product

These Meriwool Merino Wool Hiking Socks are well made, comfortable, well cushioned, lightweight and ideal for hiking or running. I love how it keeps my feet dry with its moisture wicking capability. I also love the extra pillow it offers to support my knees and back. This is a great product and I highly recommend it. I am in the process of buying more pairs. Thank you for selling a quality product.

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Very high quality (unboxed)

These socks appear to be of VERY good quality. I usually buy damn hard, point 6 and chic wool socks. I have several Meriwool shirts and I really like them, so I decided to try the socks. Out of the box these might be some of the highest quality socks I have ever owned. I didn't put them to any test other than unpack, set up and go to work. Time, some laundry, a few hikes - this really is a melting pot they haven't seen before. So far I'm very impressed.

Comfortable socks that do NOT last long

I liked the feel, comfort and fit of these socks. Merino will always be a bestseller for me. I have a lot of Darn Tough Socks and wanted to try other brands. These socks are not durable. I bought maybe 6 pairs and half of them got punctured and got worse and worse. I went 14 inches and when I came back and took off my shoes my entire heel was exposed. Great idea and initial consolation but they don't last long. Wouldn't buy again. Darn Tough did not disappoint and they offer a lifetime return…

Really well made, unique length. Great price

My second contribution to this review - they have held up so well I have bought two more pairs. I would just like to add that this is a medium weight wool that doesn't get hot but offers more absorbency and padding than thinner offerings. This is great value for the Revain price. "Very comfortable socks with climate control. They're cozy when you're cold and breathable when you're hot. The length is a bit odd - they are longer than no show socks but much shorter than crew socks. Not my favorite

liked it a lot. Held so far

These socks are great. These are my first Merino wool socks. They are quite soft and not itchy at all. They seem to have just the right amount of cushioning. I was afraid that they would get too warm for me. But although my feet stay warm, my feet don't get sweaty or wet like cotton socks sometimes do. I usually wear size 9.5-10 shoes. Medium socks fit perfectly. The top of the sock is right on my ankle. TO UPDATE. After about a year of wearing these socks, both pairs developed cavities in the…

Definitely my favorite pair of socks

These socks are fantastic. I've wanted to try wool socks for a long time, but found myself only buying cheap packs in bulk from Ross or TJ Maxx. Finally decided to spend $8.50 for a pair instead of $10 for 5 or 6 packs. I'm not disappointed. They are very comfortable and my feet are much drier day by day. Not only that, but if I don't wear them all day or feel like I'm sweating profusely that day, I have no problem putting them back on without washing. They haven't smelled yet and I've noticed…

Seemingly a steal only to throw them away after a few months

**UPDATE** I ordered two sets and threw away the last pair due to the holes. I will not order anymore. You've been amazing for weeks/months. But they all accumulated holes in their heels with general wear and tear. Without shoes I don't wear socks and generally only sneakers. ****OLD REVIEW IMMEDIATELY UPON RECEIPT** Great fit, great construction and the perfect middle ground between cheap socks and socks that are too far out of my budget to justify spending over $25 for a pair. I ordered the…

Small size; good quality

I wear American shoes in size 10.5 or 11.0. I bought them accordingly but I find them quite tight if not too small. The weaving is excellent; The socks wear well and I expect them to last a long time. They are attractive and fashionable. However, your dimensions appear to be wrong. Order a size or two larger; I wish I had. Update: Order two sizes larger if available. I've been wearing these socks for a couple of years now and wash each pair about half a dozen times. I think I bought four pairs…
