Great but very big. Read please.

Fits well if you choose the right size, comfortable, fits your hand perfectly. I love her. They seem to run almost a full size or a size and a half larger. I'm 9.5D and 9D in Danners and Bates RAT boots. I have had several chameleons. But with them I use 8D. I even tried on a regular hiking MOAB 2 at REI and was 9D to prepare before ordering. I can't find anything under 9th on any other brand so I don't know what's up with them. Otherwise they are great so far. Let's see how they stretch in a…

very comfortable boots.

The most comfortable boots I've ever had. Difficult to put on, have been wearing them for about 2 months and have worn them in wet sloppy snow and my feet got wet quickly. Not very waterproof.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Useless features

God bless Merrell shoes!

I bought my original pair of Merrell Moab 2s in 2012 while working abroad and still wear them (the laces were replaced with a 550 cord about 2 years ago). I went back to work in LE and in 2 years I threw away 2 pairs of 5.11 boots and 1 pair of Armor boots. When I discovered these Merrell Moab "tactical" boots, I couldn't contain my excitement. I tried them on right away and they fit perfectly (size 10.5). They feel just like my original Moab 2, comfortable, supportive and snug enough around…

One Flaw Uniform, Work & Safety

I've been used to Bates and Red Wing boots for a few years now but I wanted to change something. This boot is good except for one downside: the flat insole is not good. I ended up replacing the insole with a Red Wing insole which made these boots almost perfect. I'm in the field, in and out of the car five (5) days a week and so far this boot has held up. I didn't have to test the waterproofing but it seems to hold up in wet grass. There are enough laces, but I ended up replacing them with Lock

This is Merrell.ofc they are good

I ordered extra wide because I have very wide feet. Well these are the first boots I've had that really have room for toe movement. I wear them for over 12 hours. I usually buy 13D in size 5.11 and they fit a lot looser than these. Next time I'll use 12 1/2. I had a thread coming out of the seam on the left side, but that's because my boot is constantly rubbing the bottom of my patrol unit. Very convenient. I work in the country. I can't say how they will be inside, like in prison, I had good…
