Great product for black and brown IKEA furniture

My cat decided to sharpen her claws on the top of our black and brown IKEA Hemnes furniture. This left small indentations in the wood that were very visible. Within 5 minutes of receiving the marker, I filled in all the small indentations. The color was perfect. Some deeper marks required 2-3 uses/washes. The furniture looks like new again. Very satisfied. Great product at a great price!

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Requires socket

He did exactly what he promised.

Received today and my furniture is looking better. I had a side table. It had a few stains but the trim was scraped off in a few places. I used this pen and covered with small strokes according to the instructions. I let the first coat dry and then apply two or three more. The scratches were relatively small and thin but I stuck to it and now after three or four uses I look and can't tell where the marks and scratches were. Great price and I am very happy with this product

Pros
  • Hard wearing finish
Cons
  • Tape

Flawless color for West Elm

I bought this to liven up a West Elm dark chocolate wood dining table. I had a piece of the top of the table chip and was about to snap off. Once glued you could still see the outline of the light wood underneath so I used this pencil to fill in the gaps. I am very picky and have a razor sharp eye when it comes to colour, variation etc and the color on this pen was indeed spot on. You can only tell where the error is by the fact that the chip is slightly raised, not by the color.

Very happy customer :)

My electric fireplace remote control was like new in 20 minutes! so the scratches are very noticeable. With this pen I was able to cover up all the scratches in 20 minutes with little effort on my part. I just masked each mark in the direction of the grain and then followed up with a paper towel after about 30 seconds, I had to buff a bit to remove the excess but that was the bulk of my "work". Very happy with this purchase. :)

Pros
  • Like everything before
Cons
  • I'm worried

Not that bad. on covers and scratch remover

Used on my Ikea bed. The marker is easy to use. I would not recommend this for center scratches on your furniture as you can see where the handle was held even after it has dried. However, I recommend using it for corners or edges as you won't be able to tell where the marker is drawn. Overall a great product. I've used some scratched ones and if they left marks I'd wipe them off quickly so they don't leave a hard mark. Depending on your wood and texture, you may also see the marker in the sun.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Update available

Works very well just keep your expectations in check

I bought a pen and pencil to smooth the wear and tear on the dark wood floors. The pen is very easy to use, usually gives me the right color and can be applied in many different ways. For superficial scratches, it is advisable to use a pen, not deeper and not wider (better with a pencil). Because the pen cannot penetrate deeper and gaps appear in the coating. But I should note that when it dries, even after I wiped off the excess amount, you can still see it filling in the scratch on the wood…

Great crayon, definitely dark brown/black!

I used this to fix a bar table and 4 chairs. This is a brown and black set and the color of the feather is perfect. The color is dark and looks black with a few coats, but I would say it's definitely brown/black. It just depends on how many coats you apply. For scratches that needed serious touching up, I applied a coat, then waited a few minutes, wiped off with a rag and applied again. Sometimes I do it 2 times more to mix. If the paint dries too dark, re-wet the area with the pen and wipe…

It's basically a brown marker, but it works

I used it to cover up scratches on an Ikea espresso table (brown and black) that I had next to a bin found in one of my apartment building. It was quite scratched but otherwise in good condition. This marker just paints over the scratches, it doesn't fill them in and doesn't make the texture look the same. To do this, you need a different type of product. For my free trash table, this was the perfect solution. This is a good color match. I was thinking of just using a black marker but when I…

Pros
  • Dries instantly and hides scuffs, dents and stains
Cons
  • Dull packaging

i wasn't happy This pen saved the day

I recently spilled nail polish remover on my ebony coffee table. Most of the table was undamaged, but part of the top shelf and part of the bottom shelf were damaged - I had a black table with brown spots on the top and a large white spot on the bottom shelf. i wasn't happy This pen saved the day. The color doesn't match perfectly, but the difference isn't that noticeable unless you know where the stain was or run your hand over the stain - since this pen isn't shiny, it looks like you might…
