Fabulous! on tire valve tools

Ideal for custom hubcaps. The only problem is that sometimes when you unscrew the plastic valve cap to check pressure or fill a tire, the entire extension unscrews.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Unreliable

I don't recommend them, they've all been leaked.

I installed them, one after the other vented at an insane rate. I was surprised that the air came from the top (it's like a dome, not the valve pin of a normal shredder) and not where it connects to the valve stem, that part has an internal o-ring. Luckily I got a refund.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Obsolete model

Perfect fit for Gotrax XR Elite electric scooter

This was exactly what I needed: something to help me inflate the front tire of the Gotrax XR Elite electric scooter with a recessed valve stem. The valve extender that comes with the scooter allows air to escape during attachment and detachment, but this Milton extension keeps the air in the tire before and after inflation.

It's worth it! Exceeded expectations

Bought these for my friend's electric scooter. The valve for the front wheel is built in and can hardly be reached with the pump nozzle. The original valve extender was awful with air leaking when attaching/detaching. However, these Milton valve extenders are ideal. They're long enough to give you a good grip when screwing and unscrewing, and best of all, they don't lose air during the process. Absolutely perfect solution for hard-to-reach air valves!

Pros
  • Delightful
Cons
  • Expensive

Works with TPMS and tire pressure sensors

I need these for my truck to replace old ones that have been leaking. I have TPMS sensors on their end so I was worried they wouldn't work. However, they have performed great and have a strong seal with no air leakage. They have a pin in the middle that when pressed onto its end pushes onto another valve stem pin so you can check the pressure or add some more air. The only negative I have is that it looks like 1 of 4 has been used (see photo). I only needed one so it wasn't a big deal for me.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

If your tire's valve stems don't protrude past the caps, that's fine.

I bought a used car. The previous owners adjusted the valve stems very short when they last fitted the tires. I know short ones are cheaper. With the hubcaps in place, I found it impossible to add air to the tires. I first bought 3/4" valve extensions and things have improved a lot. An extra half inch from them makes a world of difference. Air pump/compressor jet to the end of that extension, only then does it open the valve core to let air in (or omit them if you wish).I leave them installed…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Security

while it works fine. An absolute must if your stems aren't available.

After reading some of the reviews I was concerned that they would not work properly but mine is working fine so far. I've had valve extenders that lasted 19 years on another car and they were the same "ball head" design as those Miltons. As far as I can tell these features just push down on your original valve stem (that little pin in the middle) when you push on the ball. It's like hitting a light switch with a folding rule. There's nothing inside the Milton that needs to be airtight, it just…

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Install them properly and they will get the job done as intended.

These are decent quality solid metal extensions, well made, nicely finished and will not cause any problems when installed correctly. Make sure you clean the threads of the existing valves well and then fit those valves tightly to the primary valves and you shouldn't have any air leaks or flow issues. I had to reinstall one a little tighter and clean the factory valve threads better as I could feel cold air rushing across the valve seam. But after I sat back down, everything was fine. I used…

Does not work well with pumps that have an auto shut-off.

When I first reviewed them I gave them a higher rating. But then I inflated the tires with a constant pressure pump. If you're constantly using incoming air pressure (like any pump that doesn't try to measure PSI) you can probably apply air but not be able to measure PSI. I just discovered that either my air pumps, which are designed to fill to a certain PSI and then stop, don't work. Apparently there is no back pressure in the air pump to measure PSI and the pumps always think the pressure is…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Exorbitant piggy bank
