Great gloves for photography

I'm a photographer and I needed warm gloves for extended stays in the cold to keep my thumb and forefinger flexible. They didn't break the bank and are made from pretty decent wool. The fastener on one of them broke shortly after purchase but that wasn't a problem and was easily sewn back on. They might be too thick to use with a DSLR, but they work great with my 35mm SLRs and my Sony A7riii.

Pros
  • Good looking
Cons
  • Bad feeling

For BIG HANDS! Best in Mittens

I really wanted to like these gloves and was thrilled when I received them. I wear S/M gloves and they literally fall off my hands when I shake them. It doesn't warm my hands because they are too loose and I can feel the air flowing through them, especially around my wrists. They are probably perfect for men or women who wear size XXL. Too bad I have to send them back. I'm wondering if I can throw them in the washer/dryer to see them shrink.

  • Done

Best Dog Walking Gloves

I use these gloves when it's cold and I walk my dogs. Suede on the palms prevents the leash from soiling your gloves. The "fingerless" feature means I can paddle the dogs without having to undress them. Easy to tie a feed bag. Also makes it easy to manipulate my iPhone while walking if needed. I'm not happy with the velcro because I don't know if it will deteriorate even with washing. The time will show. But Velcro is easier than a button.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Factor Set

Loyal customer: women

Bought the same gloves several times, I am rough with gloves and they are not very durable. But I haven't found any fingerless fold-down mitt gloves that are really durable at any cost. So I'm glad to have her. The design is just what I need so I can keep my fingers out of the cold until I need them and then when I remove the mitten the glove is still warm to the rest of my hand. I once had a pair with thumb caps, a feature I miss. The gloves fit me if they offered different sizes and if they…

My favorite accessory Gloves

I spend long hours outside in cold weather, walk my dogs and also work long hours outside. I need access to my phone and gear while working and exercising my dog so I can't wear gloves which make my hands bulky and awkward. I've tried gloves that cover the thumb, but they work best when all 5 fingers are open. They have a warm flap to cover my fingertips if I want and I can put my thumb in there too. I can also put a dog treat, training clicker or hand warmer inside. I am a woman with fairly…
