- this glass shelf actually exploded in my bathroom; It was positioned over my toilet and as soon as I turned to get in the tub it blew out and when I stood in front of it my face and eyes were full of glass. looked online and is a lot more common than you might think with tempered flat glass.

Sturdy shelf - thick glass and I like the rounded edges. It goes well with the rest of the chrome decor. The item I received was definitely opened and reconfigured by another buyer (some parts were missing and I could see where they even used tape to secure the instructions). But I was still able to install it.

Looks great and easy to install. I like that there are no sharp edges and the glass is quite thick and durable. Note for the curious: the shelf DOES NOT touch the wall, there is a small gap. However for me having this installed in the shower works fantastic as the water drains on all the edges. Very good design

Warning: Buyers should be aware. extremely dangerous. Bought to use glass under candle holders. Set it up. After 15 minutes I heard a loud explosion and found the glass exploding with such force that the candle holders were thrown to the floor and tempered glass was all over the living room. It was so much force that it damaged both the tiles on our custom fireplace and the hardwood floors. Don't buy tempered glass. We were lucky that nobody was in the living room

I followed the instructions carefully and used the 24" glass stencil. I installed the anchors and when I lifted the glass to install it the anchors didn't match the 24" glass template. Now my wall is a mess, in need of repair, and I need to drill more holes and install more anchors. I know I can't be the first Moen customer with this problem.
