This stand fits perfectly in my VESA hand and securely holds my 15 inch laptop. The table is metal - the handles are plastic, but so far so good. I tried x -Laptop mount first - don't make that mistake. You need that!

Added to the regular adjustable TV wall mount so I can control the 3018 desktop CNC machine. Keeps the laptop screen at eye level with the computer under the table top. Still close enough to connect via USB with nearby power supplies.

It seems solid and sturdy, the platter is thick and metallic, the package weight in detail isn't at least an order of magnitude says 3.2 ounces but it's actually around 3 . 5 kilos, maybe a little more, forwarders should be careful with the weight. It's nice that the kit comes with screws for attaching it to the Vesa mount.

I've attached a photo, this is exactly what you get, without swing arm. It's useless without a hand (greyed out in the photo, but it doesn't say anywhere that this doesn't involve a hand). So I went back to Amazon to look for a compatible hand, but who knows which one will fit this "holder". Listings in the "Frequently Bought Together" section do not include compatibility information. TLDR; Definitely not recommend. Unfortunately, it's bloody awful. I have a dual monitor mount, but the bottom monitor was too close to my desk and I had to remount it elsewhere. I wanted to move my laptop to a lower VESA mount under my large 4K monitor. Laptop tray has two mounting points where you can attach a VESA mount; one on the bottom of the tray and one on the back (at a slight angle). I attached mine to the back of the tray and am not sure what the reason for choosing one over the other would be.
